TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. PAYMENT TERMS

1.1 Payment for each applicant is $25 AUD.

1.2 Payments must be made through Stripe by filling out the form below.

1.3 To secure your spot payment MUST be made no later than 5 days prior to the event.

2. CODE OF CONDUCT

2.1 Vision Islam is not responsible for lost or broken personal items.

2.2 Damage to property belonging to the event / national park owners, including damage to gardens, equipment, building structure or sundry items will be the sole responsibility of the guilty applicant/s.

2.3 Excessive noise will NOT be tolerated.

2.4 All attendees will dress modestly in accordance with our shari’ah.

2.5 Absolutely no swearing, foul language or bad character is to be entertained.

2.6 Be prepared, organised and ready when an outing or event starts.

2.7 Do not bring contraband like alcohol, drugs or any other stimulants.

2.8 Do not bring any lewd material like digital images etc.

2.9 Please be considerate to your fellow Muslim attendee and always display good character to them .

2.10 Be active listeners, cooperate, and always follow directions given by the event supervisors.

2.11 Treat fellow attendees, staff, supervisors, as well as public and private property, with the utmost respect. We expect every attendee to exercise goodwill towards others, our event activities, and our natural surroundings. Courtesy and respect are requirements of every attendee.

2.12 Use good language. The use of rude, offensive, or generally bad language is not allowed. Harsh verbal words, tone of voice, foul language or gestures will not be tolerated, and may lead to immediate termination of the event.

2.13 Stay with the event group attendees at all times. No attendee is permitted to leave the event without permission from the event organisers.

2.14 Illegal drugs, tobacco, vaping or intoxicants of any kind are strongly prohibited before, during or after the event.

2.15 Prescription drugs must be sent with a note and clear instructions. The medicine must be in the original prescription container or a labelled bottle.

2.16 Dress in an Islamic manner. Loose modest clothing is required for all participants.

2.17 Attendees must wear appropriate clothing when swimming. (Shorts to the knees are the minimum).

2.18 All rubbish is to be placed in the provided rubbish bins or placed in plastic bags to be disposed of after the event.

2.19 All attendees will attend and actively engage in event mandated lectures, sessions, required prayers and activities unless otherwise excused. Any excused attendance must be approved by an organiser.

2.20 Attendees must always practice proper conduct, obeying all safety rules and regulations. pranks, gags, or youth-initiated activities which may result in the compromised safety or health of another individual, physically, mentally, emotionally, etc, will not be tolerated.

2.21 Please leave invaluable jewellery, or things of significant value at home, because Vision Islam is not responsible for anything lost.

2.22 If an attendee continues to disobey the event rules or is found intentionally compromising the safety of another attendee, the lead supervisor will deal with the situation. Disciplinary action will be taken such as suspension of recreation time or notifying the parents of removal from the event.

3. MEDICAL EMERGENCY WAIVER

3.1 Should my child require immediate or emergency medical care while engaged in an activity sponsored by Vision Islam, in my absence, I hereby grant the Vision Islam authority to release my child for medical treatment to such medical personnel as Vision Islam determines appropriate under the circumstances.

3.2 In consideration for the privilege of allowing my child to participate in the above-named activity, I agree to release and hold harmless Vision Islam, its organisers, staff and volunteers, from any liability to or responsibility for bodily injury, damage or illness to the above-identified child while participating in any youth athletic or social activity which may be directly or indirectly sponsored by Vision Islam.

3.3 Further, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vision Islam, its organisers, staff and volunteers with respect to any claim asserted by or on behalf of my child as a result of bodily injury, illness, or damage.

4. DATA PRIVACY & COLLECTION

4.1 This form utilises GDPR Compliance or General Data Protection Regulation; which is a set of EU data collection regulations (effective as of May 25, 2018). This form does not collect Geo-locational data, form-abandonment data, tracking cookies, or IP Address storage. All information you submit is completely confidential.

WAIVER, RELEASE & INDEMNIFICATION FORM

TO: VISION ISLAM

In consideration of you allowing me to participate in and take part in the game of Boxing.

1. I HEREBY AGREE FOR MYSELF, MY EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS, HEIRS, NEXT OF KIN, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS;

a. not to make any claim or demand of any kind or institute any proceedings against the VISION ISLAM for any injury, damage of any kind what so ever or death sustained by or occasioned to me in the course of or incidental to participating in the game of Boxing arising or resulting directly or indirectly from any act, omission, neglect or default on the part of VISION ISLAM arising or resulting from faulty equipment issued or hired to me by VISION ISLAM.

b. to indemnify and save harmless VISION ISLAM all loss, injury, or damage which they or any one of them sustain by reason of:

c. any loss or injury suffered by me in the course of or incidental to participating in the game Boxing or resulting from me being on or near the designated participation area, and / or

d. any loss or injury suffered by any other person whatsoever as a result of my neglect or wilful act of omission;

e. the expressions, VISION ISLAM shall include the following: the owners and proprietors of VISION ISLAM, any director, officers, agents, servants, licensees, and invitees of VISION ISLAM.

2. I WARRANT THAT I AM FULLY AWARE OF ALL RISKS INVOLVED IN PARTICIPATING IN BOXING AND THAT THERE MAY BE A POSSIBILITY OF INJURY TO ME INCLUDING INJURY CAUSED TO ME IF THE SPORT EQUIPMENT DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY. I NEVERTHELESS WISH TO ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS.

3. I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT BOXING IS A PHYSICAL GAME AND MAY BECOME PHYSICALLY STRENUOUS. I HEREBY WARRANT THAT I:

a. am in good physical condition.

b. have no disability, impairment or ailment which would prevent me from participating in or would be detrimental to my health, safety, comfort or physical condition or the health, safety, comfort, or physical condition of the others while participating in Boxing or while at or near the participation areas.

4. I UNDERTAKE TO PARTICIPATING IN BOXING ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS, RULES AND SUGGESTIONS PRESENTED TO ME BY VISION ISLAM INT.

5. I HAVE REACHED THE AGE OF EIGHT (8) YEARS OF AGE.

6. I AGREE AND UNDERTAKE AT ALL TIMES TO WEAR AND NOT REMOVE MY SAFETY EQUIPMENT WHILST ON OR CLOSE TO THE DESIGNATED PARTICIPATION AREAS.

7. I AM NOT UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL.
